Summit Engineering was the proud recipient of the 29th Annual Excellence in Architecture Design Award from American Institute of Architects (AIANH) for their work on the Planning, Design, and Development of Regeneration Park in Portsmouth, NH.
Regeneration Park is a project that has been able to successfully re-use an existing building and transform it into a state-of-the-art, near net-zero office, retail, and restaurant building. Previously used as an automobile dealership with a great deal of asphalt paving adjacent to wetlands, the revitalized site and finished building has resulted in a vastly improved space that is sensitive to the environment and appropriate for the new tenants and owners.
Founded in 1940, the New Hampshire Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIANH) is a not-for-profit professional-service association of nearly 300 architects, allied professionals, and laypeople who are committed to excellence in design and creating a sustainable environment in our buildings, neighborhoods, towns, and cities.
The AIANH chapter offers a wide array of services to its members and the public including information on hiring and working with an architect. Our members work with each other and their communities to create more valuable, healthy, secure, and sustainable buildings and neighborhoods.
